If you needed an excuse to eat tacos for 10 days straight…. this is it.
Charlottetown Taco Battles is returning to PEI this spring, bringing together local restaurants and top chefs to compete for the title of the best taco in the city.
What It Is
This event is basically a city-wide taco competition.
This year:
- 30+ local restaurants are taking part
- Each spot creates their own unique taco
- You get to try them and decide your favourite
From beef and chicken to seafood and creative twists – there’s a lot to try.
When It’s Happening
- April 28 to May 9, 2026
So yes, you’ve got plenty of time to make your way through as many tacos as possible.
How It Works
Each taco is priced around $19, and you can visit different restaurants across Charlottetown to try them.
The goal?
Eat your way around the city and help crown the winner.
